How To UnBrick/Unroot Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830i Using ODIN
Samsung Galaxy Ace s5830i was one of the top selling android devices in the market. This article is for those who have accidently bricked their s5830i or those who wishes to unroot their device and return to stock rom.
We have provided a list of firmwares for almost all the countries. Just follow these simple procedures and you will have successfully unbricked your s5830i.
Prerequisites:
- Your device must be rooted. [ For rooting s5830i check - link ]
- latest Version of ODIN software [ 3.09 3.07 ]
- USB Cable [ preferably OEM ]
- Bricked s5830i
- Install Samsung USB Drivers on your PC
- For unbricked users- back up all necessary information

Lets Begin:
You can try either single file or Multi file installations:
A. Single File Installation
- Download the firmware for your country and ODIN ( we are doing a single file installation using odin 3.07/3.09) and extract zip file to desktop.
- Switch off your phone. Go into download mode - Hold down Volume Up and Volume Down and then long press Power Button till you see the Download screen.
- Run Odin v3.07/3.09 as Administrator. Connect device to PC using USB cable.
- If device was successfully connected, the ID:COM port turns blue.
- Click on the PDA button in ODIN, and choose the firmware file with tar.md5 extension.
- Press the start button. Wait till it finishes.
B. Multi File Installation
- Download Odin v1.84 with pit from above link and the multi file firmware for the required region.
- Run Odin as administrator and connect your device using USB cable in 'Download Mode'
- If the device is properly connected the ID:COM port will turn Yellow in color.
- Tick the "Re-Partition" , "F-Reset Time" and "Auto Reboot" Option in ODIN.
- Click on the PIT button and choose the pit file - "cooperve_0623.pit" from the ODIN folder
- Then click the PDA button and select the file with CODE in its name.
- Click Phone and select the file with MODEM in its name.
- Click on CSC and select the file with CSC in its name.
- Finally hit the “Start” button on Odin and let the installation finish.
The Installation will take quite some time to finish and then reboot automatically. Please wait patiently. One booted, check the firmware version.

How to Unbrick Your LG Optimus L3 E400 -Stock Firmware
You might have bricked your LG L3 during Cyanogen or other ROM installations or during Rooting process . Here is the method to Unbrick your precious LG L3 and bring it to stock.
Note: This method can also be used by non-bricked people who wishes to to return to stock firmware. For them, just enable USB debugging on your device, Turn it off afterwards and continue with the steps as mentioned.
Requirements:
- Download and install LG PC Suite & USB Driver--Link
- Download Stock Firmware according to your country --Link ( if you didnt get the file, please refresh again and again. I had to do it for about 7 or 8 times )
- Download KDZ updater--Link
- Install msxml file found in the KDZ updater folder. The Restart Your PC. ( This will solve the wparam 100 and lparam 6 issue)
Let's Begin:
- Get your device into emergency mode --->remove the battery and put is back again and then press vol UP +
vol DOWN + power button at once.Then wait for a vibration. Now you
will see a emergency mode written on yellow background.
- Connect your LG L3 to your PC using USB cable.
- Next open KDZ updater (Run as Administrator only) and select >> Type: 3GQCT -- PhoneMode:DIAG
- Select the .kdz firmware file that you have downloaded in the KDZ file section.
- We are ready to start the process. Click on the "Launch software update" , it will take some time to finish. If everything goes okay, then you will see a "Finished" message in log. Now your phone has been switched off from Emergency mode.
- Next ,turn it on. This will also take some time. Don't worry, its normal the first time.
You have successfully completed unbricking process.!

How To Flash Stock GingerBread ROM on HTC Explorer
A lot of people want to revert their HTC explorer to old stock ROM. This method will help you to return to factory ROM. Follow these steps carefully and you will have your old gingerbread system.
Warning:

Let's Begin:
Step 1
- Download the rom zip file from above link, and copy it to your phone's SD card.(Root directory will be a better place as its easier to access)
Step 2
- Reboot into recovery mode.( " Volume Down"+"Power" )
Step 3
- wipe data/factory reset , wipe cache partitions , wipe dalvik cache , wipe battery stats
Step 4
- Go back and Select " install zip from SD card", choose a zip to apply. Select the downloaded rom file and flash this zip file.
Step 5
- Wait till the flashing process is complete. The first reboot might take some time. Please be patient.
There you go! You have flashed a stock ROM on your Pico.

How To Repair And Unroot Your Bricked Samsung Galaxy Y S5360 Using ODIN- Flash Stock Rom
Most users of Samsung Galaxy Y have been tired of the boring old looks and dared to venture into new ROMs and styles. Many have successfully transformed their precious device but few experienced problems like losing IMEI/Reception, Messaging, or even bricking.
This method will bring back your stock Galaxy Y and you will be able to try and correct the errors from last encounter. This method is mainly for 'Bricked Users', but those of you who wish to revert back to stock rom, can also try this method. Also Trying This method will bring back your phone to the original factory settings, which means your device will also be unrooted.
Requirements:
Download the packages given in the link below;
Extract These Compressed Files Using Winrar.
Let's Begin:
- Open Odin Folder and run ODIN. ( For Win 7 and 8 users should " Run as Administrator " Option)
- Put your phone into download mode. ( Press VOL Down+- Home Button+Power Button). Now it will ask you to press VOL UP button. Press VOL UP
- When your phone has entered into download mode, connect it to your PC using USB cable.
- Now your device will be detected,( On task manager stop all processes related to kies)
- Next we have to select each files from the extracted folder for ODIN.
1. PIT File: Click on the pit file option on ODIN, and now select the PIT file from extracted firmware folder.
2. Bootloader: Select Boot file from extracted folder
3. PDA: select the PDA file from folder
4. PHONE: Be careful in this step, you have to select the MODEM file instead of PHONE file from folder.
5. CSC: Select the GTS5360 named file.
- After selecting all files, Press START button on ODIN. The Flashing process will start now. You can see a blue progress bar moving slowly. This shows that the flashing process is being done.
- Wait for the process to finish.Make sure the USB cable is plugged in and never disconnect the device while process is going on.
- After everything is finished, you can see a green colored bar appearing with PASS printed on it. Now the phone will restart automatically. Allow it to restart.
- Once restarted the phone will be brought back to factory settings and will be unrooted also.
There you have it, Your Galaxy Y has been restored to factory settings !
