Root your Motorola Moto G -- (Windows/Mac/Linux)
Moto G has finally arrived in India and is selling hot. Really hot!
For one thing Moto G has all the specs an ideal smartyphone user wishes to posses and whats more , it is available at a neat price of Rs.12500 which may come down soon. Its really a Bang for the Buck.
Adreno 305 GPU, Snapdragon 400 Quad core CPU, 1 GB RAM, HD Recording, 720p Resolution with stunning 326ppi on a 4.5 inch display. Running on the Android Jelly 4.3. Now Samsung and the other s really have to be afraid.
After its release , Modaco member PaulOBrien managed to root this device. This method is extremely simple in design as there is no need to flash any partitions, no messing with the contents of your
data partition, no overwriting the shipped ROM on your device.
Warning:
- Rooting your device will void any kind of warranty you posses on the device. Make sure that you do this at your own risk. Unrooting will bring back warranty, currently the unrooting methods are only in development.
- You need to unlock your bootloader to begin the rooting process. Visit the motorola site as thy have provided information on how to do this- Its really straight forward.- Unlock bootloader
- Rooting may affect your ability to get Future OTAs.

Let's Begin:
- Download the Superboot zip file above and extract to any directory ( Desktop will be better).
- Hold down the Volume DOWN+Power buttons together and you should boot into the bootloader mode on Your Moto G.
- Windows :: Run the superboot-windows.bat as Administrator (Right click->Run As Administator)
- MAC :: Open a terminal window to the directory containing the files, and type 'chmod +x superboot-mac.sh' followed by 'sudo ./superboot-mac.sh'
- LINUX :: Open a terminal window to the directory containing the files, and type 'chmod +x superboot-linux.sh' followed by 'sudo ./superboot-linux.sh'
- Now the rooting process will automatically start and you will be notified when it finishes.

How To Root Droid Razr Maxx HD (XT926)-Jelly Bean OTA - 9.1.41.XT926
The Razr Maxx HD packs a massive, high definition touchscreen —
4.7-inches at 1280 x 720 pixels. The display is brilliant and highly
detailed. Bonding the Razr Maxx HD’s Gorilla Glass display to its Kevlar
back is a thin band of aluminum that houses a microUSB charging port, a
mini-HDMI port for connecting the phone to an HDTV, a SIM card slot, a
microSD card slot, a headphone jack and the usual sleep and volume
buttons. nside are the specs you’d expect in a $200 phone: a 1.5-GHz
Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. This
is better than the Razr HD’s 16GB, and the extra space is welcome. Let's see How To Root This Champ.

- You should require Motorola USB drivers installed on your PC ,when your phone is plugged in as USB
- You must have an SD card In Your Phone otherwise this root will not work.
- You dont have the Motorola drivers installed for your Phone? Step 4, or
Step 6 failed? , in that folder, open 'Drivers[REQUIRED]' and run
either the 32bit or 64bit version depending on your OS.

Let's Begin:
- Backup anything you want to keep on your phone, after rooting they might get lost.
- Put "delta-ota-Blur_Version.0.7.2-9.1.41.XT926.Verizon.en.US.zip" on your Phone SD card.
- Unplug USB and Power off your Phone
- Boot into bootloader mode by holding down Volume up, Volume down and Power
- Once in Boot Mode Selection Mode screen, select “AP Fastboot” using
the Volume Down Key then press the Volume Up Key to select it.
- Plug in Phone to USB and use the DROID RAZR HD Utility 1.00 to Fastboot Restore 0.6.25 (ICS 4.0.4 Official Software)
- a. Boot Phone b. turn on USB Debugging (Settings | Developers) c. unplug and plugin Phone
- install Root exploit using DROID RAZR HD Utility 1.00 (make sure you
read the note about pressing Vol Up and Power on your phone when asked
to do so). Also NOTE: Wiping 'Data' will erase all your Camera pics that
are NOT stored on 'SDCard' by default.
- Sign-in to Google Play and Update Superuser
- Open Superuser and update binaries
- Open OTA Keeper: click 'protect root' and then 'temp unroot'
- Open System and check for Updates, download and then install the 0.7.2 update
- Once phone is booted, Open OTA Keeper: click 'restore root'
- Open Superuser and make sure you are rooted, check for 'Updates'
- Open OTA Keeper: click 'protect root' and then 'temp unroot'
- Unplug USB and Power off your Phone
- Boot into bootloader mode by holding down Volume up, Volume down and Power
- Once in Boot Mode Selection Mode screen, select “Recovery” using the Volume Down Key then press the Volume Up Key to select it.
- Once the Android with the belly open logo shows, press both Volume Up and Volume Down
- use Volume Down to navigate 'Update from External Data' and press 'Power' to select it
- use Volume Down to navigate 'delta-ota-Blur_Version.0.7.2-9.1.41.XT926.Verizon.en.US.zip' and press 'Power' to select it
- the update will take 5-10 minutes. Do not worry when its at 50% and
takes a long time. Once done, hit 'Power' to reboot into Jelly Bean
- Once phone is booted, Open OTA Keeper: click 'restore root'
- Enjoy Jelly Bean and Root!
There you go! successfully Rooted Motorola RazR Maxx HD
