Samsung Galaxy Y Duos is the Dual Sim variant of reputed Galaxy Y. It has certainly gained much popularity as its cousin Y. It is powered by 832Mhz processor, 290 MB RAM, 160 MB user accessible, 512 MB ROM,  2 GB, internal storage,3.14 in (80 mm) TFT FWVGA 320×240 px 256K Colors. It also has a 3MP camera with geotagging.

Before starting download these files:

 Download Update.zip
Unroot.zip


Rooting S6102:

Enable the USB Debugging Mode on your Galaxy Y Duos. Follow the path to enable it - ‘Settings>Applications>Development>USB Debugging’. Now, check the USB Debugging option.
  • Before starting please backup all your data
  • Copy the downloaded file into your SD card. Turn off phone. 
  • Press & hold ("Power + Volume Up + Home") keys & only let go of it when the Samsung Galaxy Y Duos logo appears.
  •  Now you enter recovery mode. Select the file "update.zip" from SD card. ( for scrolling use volume up and down keys. For selecting use home button) 
  • Confirm you selection by saying ‘Yes’ to the process. This may take few minutes to finish the process.
  • Now, you have successfully rooted your Samsung Galaxy Y Duos.
Congrats for rooting Y Duos!!.
Note: If you have any problems after rooting like - no sound from speaker. SD card not recognized etc, you need to unroot before going to seller in order to claim warranty.

It is available in black, with back covers in three different colors: black, purple and white.The display is a 3.5 inch TFT LCD capacitive touchscreen with its protection by a Gorilla Glass and has HVGA (320x480) resolution. Rooting:

Before Starting Download this file:- Ace_Root

  • Copy The above file and put into any desired folder of your SD card. ( its best if you place it directly on SD, folder wont do any harm)

  • Next Switch Off your phone

  • Boot your phone into recovery mode. For doing this , hold "HOME+POWER" buttons. When the screen turns on and you see the Samsung logo, let go of POWER but keep holding HOME. After the Galaxy Ace logo shows up and disappears, you should enter recovery mode.
  •   Now in recovery mode, scroll to the second option " apply update from SD card". For scrolling use volume up and volume down buttons. Select using Home button.

  • Scroll to the Root.zip file and select it. See if you have put it in a folder then,open that folder and then select the file.
  • When you see its fully installed, select "reboot system now" and the wait for device to reboot.
  • To check if your phone is rooted, go to you app drawer and look for an app called superuser with an icon of a pirate android with cross bones. If you see it, your phone is rooted.

Its simple and effective... You Ace is rooted!

HTC Explorer is a great budget android phone. Equipped with a lot of candy features, not to mention the Sense 3.5 UI. If you want to select your first android touch phone and budget tight then,need not consider any other but the explorer itself. Superb first android phone.It is powered by a 600MHz processor ,Adreno 200 GPU, 3.2MP camera (no flash) and many more. So this cute little phone has a little bad side-a low 90MB linternal memory. it has some pre-installed apps that cannot be removed. How to remove them?
Rooting is the only way. Let's see how to root it. Its fast and simple-yet effective.

Rooting:

Follow these steps carefully---
  • First thing you have to do is install HTC sync on your PC 
It can be downloaded from HTC site. This will help to communicate between PC and Device

  • Next you have to unlock your phone's bootloader 
 ( Go to htcdev.com. From Bootloader section select your device. But HTC explorer isnt listed on the site. No need to worry. Just select "All Supported Models", and follow the steps.)

  • Now 'ADD A RECOVERY' - 
That will allow you to install .zip ROMs. You can access to it in the menu android phones have when booting the phone after removing-inserting the battery and pressing "volume down" and "power" buttons simultaneously. (Other phones have different button combinations).

1.  Download  this recovery file - HTCa310eRecovery.zip
2.  Extract all the files to any place on your PC like E:/explorer
3.  Run the recovery.bat with phone in fastboot mode (first option in the "3 android menu" ) and connected with USB.

If you have done all this correctly then you have successfully installed the recovery files.You can now install any compatible .zip ROM or app.
  • Lets Root It
 1. Download this file- Superuser
 2. Next place this file in your micro-SD card- any location (doesn't matter)
 3. Go into Recovery Mode -  ( " Volume Down"+"Power" )
 4. install Superuser zip file with the option "install .zip from SD" from the recovery menu.

There you go- Your HTC Explorer Is rooted and is all yours....

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is one of the prime phones of the android series. It has a mammoth 5.5inch screen. Note II features a 1.6 GHz quad-core processor, 720p resolution display, 2 GB of RAM, and storage capacity up to 128 GB — when using a 64 GB micro-SD card with the projected 64 GB model.The Galaxy Note II is equipped with Broadcom BCM4334 chipset for the IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi connectivity in 2.4 Ghz and 5 Ghz dual-band with maximum rate up to 150 Mbps, FM radio tuner and Bluetooth 4.0 + HS support.

From the specs it is obvious that note 2 has all the power it requires for daily tasks. Want to push the phone to extreme. Lets Root it.( International Edition)

 

Warning:

Rooting can void warranty of your phone. If wrongly done, it can brick your phone . Be careful! Make sure your battery if fully charged to be on safe side.

Root It:


  • Put your Galaxy Note 2 into Download mode by turning off your phone first then holding down Volume Down, Center Home, and Power buttons together. 

  • Once you see the warning screen, hit Volume Up button to enter ODIN Download Mode then connect a micro-USB cable from your Note 2 to your computer.  

  • If you don’t have Samsung USB drivers installed, go ahead and download it below and run it to install. 


  • Unzip the files. Next, open up the ODIN program by double-clicking on the .exe file.

  • You should see a yellow-highlighted COM box with a random number. If you don’t see it, double-check your Windows drivers (the Samsung USB drivers you installed in Step 3) and unplug, plug your Note 2 back into your computer.  

  • "DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING ELSE" and click on “PDA” button then find the file cwm6-root-note2.tar. 

  • Hit Start and let ODIN flash the custom CWM Recovery. When it’s done, your Galaxy Note 2 will reboot and you should have a fully rooted Galaxy Note 2.  

  • Your phone will boot into newly installed CWM Recovery automatically once and install Superuser app and su binaries then reboot. 

  • You should find a new Superuser app called “SuperSU”. You can easily verify you have root by downloading Titanium Backup app (free on Play Store) and running it.  You should get a nice Superuser permission pop-up window:
Note: As long as your model number begins with GT-N7010, it will work yes.

  • First Download " Hebrew Android Development" Form Sourceforge
  • Download the zip file above and extract to some folder, you should receive a tar file. Open odin 3 (attached) and put the tar file in pda. 
  • Put the device into download mode. (vol down + home + power button, and then click on vol up)
  • Connect phone to usb and wait for odin detect the device.
    Click start.
 Its Done

Please note: It is difficult to root the firmware in recovery mode. reasons are unknown.
