Samsung Showcases Two New Galaxy Tabs: Tab 3 311 & 211

Samsung electronics have brought two new tablets belonging to the Galaxy Tab 3 series into the market. The two new models are ; an 8 inch Galaxy tab 3 311 and a smaller 7 inch Galaxy tab 3 211.

Galaxy Tab 3 311

The galaxy tab 3 311 is powered by a 1.5GHz dual core processor and possess 1.5GB RAM for smoother performance and wide range of multitasking possibilities. It comes with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS and a huge 16 GB internal memory for all your apps and multimedia. Great thinking from Samsung to provide with an additional 64GB MicroSD card slot , just in case.

Now about the Camera, the primary is a 5 Megapixel one which is really good for its price. It has a 1.9 Mega pixel secondary camera for video calling. All these are powered by a 4450mAh battery which can ensure a quality usage time and standby for your tab.

The 311 is only 7.4mm thick, that is really sleek and slim. Now there are two variants for 311;

The model with 3G will be priced at Rs. 25,725 and other with wifi only is priced at Rs. 21,945.

Galaxy Tab 3 211

This little brother of 311 is a meager 1 inch smaller, capped at 7 inch and is equipped with a 1.GHz Dual core processor. It has slightly lower RAM of 1 GB and reduced internal memory of 8 GB with a 32 GB MicroSD slot. This utilizes Jellybean 4.1 OS rather than the 4.2 one in 311. Smaller 3 MP camera which is not very impressive at its price. Also a 1.3 MP secondary camera. It houses a 4000mAh battery .

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 211 is priced at a reasonable amount of Rs. 17,745.

We will have to wait and see whether these two can make an impact in the market and favor hem against competition.
