Increase Internal Memory Of Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S5830-Link2SD

How To Increase Internal Memory Of Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S5830

Samsung Galaxy Ace is a good Budget android phone. It has only a meager 158MB internal memory, which will surely show Low Internal memory warning after installing a dozen ore more hungry apps.

So in this  article i will tell you how to increase effective system memory using Link2SD.

Warning:

  • We aren't responsilble for any damages occures to your phone. Do at your own risk
  • Rooting Void Warranty. You can get it back by unrooting later

Before We Begin:

  • You device must be rooted-Root Ace S5830
  • Download Minitool partition Wizard
  • Require A Good SD card with atleast 2 GB space.[4GB+ recommended ( Class 4 or higher)]
  • Download Lin2sd

Lets Begin:

  • Download and install MiniTool partition Wizard.

  • Mount your SD card to PC, and run Minitool. Before doing Make sure you back up all necessary data as it will be deleted.

  • From Minitool wizard, search for your SD card. Now Right click on Card and Select " Delete".

  • After the partitions are deleted, Again Right click on SD card and select"
Create New. Create a “FAT32″ partition. Please note that this will be the part of SD card that stores all media files and other things.  Select as " Primary " for this partition. Keep in mind that this partition should be bigger than The secondary one we are going to create for linking apps.

  • Now create a second partition of type- ext2/ext3/ext4. ( Almost all the roms and kernels supports ext2, so it will be suitable to use it for partition. Those with kernel supports for higher options can use them.) Note that this secondary partition is where your apps will go. 512MB-2GB is recommended. Its your choice.

  • Click on the Apply button seen on top left corner of Minitool and continue.

  • After partitioning put your SD card back in ace and switch it on. After powering on, install link2sd from playstore.

  • When opening it , it will ask you to choose the second partition. From the list of partition choose ext2 ( or which ever you chose)

  • On choosing the partition, it will say " Mount script created. Reboot your phone now". reboot phone and start link2sd. If it doesn't ask for rebooting again, then you are successful.

  • now go to settings on Link2sd and select " Autolink". It will automatically install move apps to second partition.

  • To move apps to phone, just select "move to phone" option and make sure you tick - app, dalvik cache and library.

Now you have increased your internal memory and install as many apps as you like on your Galaxy Ace.
